Questions to ask your contractor's references
Hello!
Here is part 2 of the blog regarding hiring a contractor: QUESTIONS TO ASK THEIR REFERENCES!:
1. Could they communicate well with the contractor?
2. Were they pleased with the quality of work?
3. Were they satisfied with the remodeler's business practices?
4. Did the crew show up on time?
5. Were they comfortable with the tradespeople the remodeler subcontracted to?
6. Was the job completed on schedule?
7. Did the remodeler fulfill his/her contract?
8. Did the contractor stay in touch with the client?
9. Was the job completed on budget? If not, were any changes discussed prior to being made?
As always, your gut may tell you more than any collaterial or referral ever could - if you have any second thoughts, keep interviewing - your home is likely your biggest investment!
