Capital continues to pour into the Phoenix Metro area

There is an interesting article today on www.azcentral.com - the Arizona Republic's website. It details the amount of money that is coming into the Phoenix metro area, complete with some extravagant examples. It also points out that Scottsdale and Phoenix are recognized INTERNATIONALLY as a place to shop and vacation. Stars, tourists and locals are all spending quite a bit of disposable income here.
It also points out that Arizonans are getting richer. The number of households with incomes of $200,000 or more, both in the state and in Maricopa County, nearly doubled in the past five years. That outpaced population growth of 14 percent in the state and 17 percent in the county, according to Census Bureau estimates.
This doesn't surprise us; just look at the number of upscale condo projects, custom homes, and vacation homes in the area, and you know that us Phoenicians are exceeding the status quo!
