Real Estate terminology

Hi,

Today's word of the day is Deed.

Deed - Written instrument which, when properly executed and delivered, conveys title.

Well that sounds simple but there are many types of deeds.  We will name them, but give you specific definitions another time.  The most commonly used deeds are:  General Warranty Deed (offers the best protection to the buyer), Special Warranty Deed, Quit Claim Deed, Beneficiary Deed, and Deed of Trust.

Best wishes for a happy, FREE and safe Independence Day!!
