Pinal county growth

Hi,

Hope your having a great weekend.  This weekend is a big NASCAR weekend here in Phoenix.  If the attendance today at Phoenix International Raceway were counted as a city, PIR would be the 5th largest city in the state.  That includes local residents and diehard fans from out of state.

Well, take that population make up and multiply it for what the expected growth is for the Phoenix metro area over the next couple of decades.  An article in AZCentral/ Arizona Republic today covered the expected growth and more specifically what is happening in Pinal County.  The population  of Metro Phoenix is expected to double by 2030.  A large chunk of that growth will occur in Pinal County due to the availability of land.  In this last year alone land transactions in Pinal County totaled $1 billion dollars.  The majority from developers that see the growth patterns.  We may go through some cycles in the real estate market, but numerous studies indicate that the long term growth is good.  To read the whole article, click on  http://www.azcentral.com/php-bin/clicktrack/email.php/4202990

Have a great week.
