Why should I buy in Arizona vs. California or other areas?
I have had many people that said they were considering Palm Springs and Scottsdale (or the metro area) that decided on Arizona. I think the choice is easy. Home prices have remained lower on average here than in California making for better value in AZ. Additionally Arizona has lower taxes on purchasing, holding and selling real estate.
If you are looking for relaxation, golf and a pool, you won't go wrong in either area. But if you want to look at the long term, the Phoenix metro area offers a lot more to do. Cultural events, including ballet, symphony,and theatre. We are home to teams in the four major sports leagues. World class dining and shopping. The Phoenix metro is fairly centered in the state, making access to other cities and attractions like Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Tucson, Kartchner Caverns and so much more, very easy. Not to mention Rocky Point Mexico, which is known as Arizona's beach, is 4 hours away (and no dealing with LA traffic! )
