P.F. Chang's Rock N Roll Marathon
As if there wasn't already so much to do in January in the Valley of the Sun!
This weekend (Sunday) is the P.F. Chang's Rock n Roll Marathon and 1/2 marathon. Now, obviously if you're a runner, you already know about this. The race attracts premiere runners from across the country and the globe. What makes it a fabulous attraction for everyone else is that there are 70 bands playing - including the headline band and local boys, The Gin Blossoms - along the route to entertain the runners and the crowds. This event winds through parts of Central Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe. The forecast is for cooler than average temps, and lots of fun. If you were coming to town for the Barrett-Jackson auction, Russo & Steele or any of the other great activities this coming week, come early and have some more fun!
