Help New Orleans
Hello,
I am going to skip the appraisal information mentioned in yesterday's blog to address the horrendous catastrophy that has occured in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast area. As you probably know, the vast majority of the city of New Orleans is under water due to Hurricane Katrina and the broken levees. The difficulties that the residents of the stricken area are experiencing is hard to comprehend for most people, especially here in Arizona where it is extremely unlikely that we will ever have to deal with something of this magnitude.
We urge everyone to do whatever they can to assist. Donate to the American Red Cross or other know charities that can get urgently needed food, medical supplies, generators and other necessities to those who need it. All of the blood centers in the New Orleans areas are shut down, which is creating a shortage for the open hospitals in the area. Donate blood. We as Americans rallied around the poor souls devastated by the Asian tsunami. Let's show that we can help our own as well.
