Fun things to do this weekend

HI,

Yes, I know it is already Sunday, bu there is still plenty to enjoy before the work week starts.  Of course there is the Cardinals game this afternoon at 2:15.  If you don't have tickets, there is always tailgating.

Are you ready for a unique way to see some holiday lights? Check out

McCORMICK-STILMAN RAILROAD PARK

All Aboard Arizona’s most unique holiday event!  Take a train ride through many festive holiday lights and displays turning the Railroad Park into a winter wonderland.  Opening night festivities will include a tree lighting ceremony, entertainment and a visit from Santa.

Friday-Sunday, December 16-18.
The event starts 6:30pm-9pm.
Free Admission(Train and carousel rides are $2 each).

We have done this in the past, and it's a nice change of pace.

Do you want to see 7 million lights in one place?  Check out the Arizona Celebration of Lights!

At this 14th annual attraction, visitors drive thru a mile-long show with hundreds of animated figures, tunnels and arches made of more than 7 million lights.  Afterward, visit Santa's Village to take a picture with Kriss Kringle, sip hot cocoa and ride a train.

Friday-Sunday, December 16-18.
The event starts Friday-Saturday 6pm-10pm, Sunday 6pm-9pm.
