More Phoenix area April Real estate Statistics
Last week I provided some statistics on real estate sales in the Phoenix and Scottsdale metro area for April 2009. Here are some additional statistics defining single family detached homes with a comparison to the same period in the previous few years. Good numbers to see!

The percentages in the chart represent the percentage of single family to total sales.
Short sales accounted fo 774 sales in April.
Total properties under contract as of 5/11 is an astounding 17868, (13,846 pending- the rest contingent sales). In the single family detached segment, that number is 16,068 (12429 pending). As I mentioned in the previous blog on these stats, that bodes very well for the upcoming month's statistics as well.
