Bowl Time in the Phoenix metro area!
HI,
It's Bowl time in the Valley of the Sun, and no city has more going on for football bowl games than the Phoenix metro area. The Phoenix metro area is host to three bowl games over the next couple of weeks. First comes the 
Insight Bowl featuring Texas Tech and Minnesota, to be played this Friday at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. Next is the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, now being played in the NEW University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, featuring Oklahoma and Boise State. That game will be on New Year's Day. Last but definitely not least is the 
BCS National Championship Game to be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale on January 8. Ohio State University and University of Florida will battle it out for the title of #1!
Despite the game locales in Tempe and Glendale, another center of activity will be Scottsdale. Scottsdale has the largest number of hotel rooms available, and has long been a hub for visiting football fans. This Thursday will be the Fiesta Bowl ArtWalk. This is a great family event, and provides a lot of variety for visitors. Galleries in the Old Town Scottsdale area are open late for this annual event. Turn out is expected to the largest ever. Visitors from Minnesota and Idaho will most likely welcome the climate change.
If you can spare the time off, stick around another week, and you can catch the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction starting 1/15. This is truly an event not to be missed if you love cars.
