Sorry we missed a couple of days... Just some basic stuff to consider:
If you are replacing an A/C unit and thinking of selling, keep in mind that as of January 23, 2006 all new installations of A/C units have to be 13 SEER. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. The higher the number, the more efficient the unit. (We can give you more details if you want). The previous standard was 10. It has been rare to find a 13 and most new homes have been coming with 11 or 12.
Obviously if you are looking for a new home in the Phoenix market, your first thought is whether you like the home and feel comfortable. There are many other factors to consider including what are your utility bills. If you want some info to help you with your decision, please call us.
