Record Year for Phoenix New Homes

December 28th, 2005
Hello....

Once again, there was more info in today's Arizona Republic detailing the phenominal year in real estate.  Through November, 58,491 new homes had been permitted in the Valley.  With monthly permit numbers typically exceeding 4,000, it's clear that last year's stunning-at-the-time milestone of 60,872 permits is about to be bested.

Phoenix Real Estate still a good market

December 26th, 2005
Hello,

National statistics were just released for November's new home sales.  Numbers show sales down about 13% versus the same month last year.  Remember that national stats don't always reflect the regional statistics.

Although we obviously have experienced a slowdown in the Phoenix Real Estate Market, most areas like Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Glendale and Peoria have stabilized.  Most analysts feel that the market should remain fairly stable for the next year or so, while other parts of the country may experience a downturn.  Why?  Economy, jobs, climate and baby boomers.  The last relates to all

Arizona Population explosion

December 22nd, 2005
Good Thursday!   The Arizona Republic reported today that Arizona grew by nearly 200,000 people in one year, the highest number ever - even after decades of explosive growth!  Arizona now has nearly 6 Million residents - HALF of which live in the Phoenix Valley!  Arizona is now the 17th largest state in population.   Tom Rex, an ASU business research manager, says that the state is in a high period of its economic cycle, meaning jobs are available for new Arizonans.....   So long as there is employment, perfect weather (it was sunny and 76 today in Scottsdale....), and friendly people, the valley - and Arizona - will continue to
