Should you get a home inspection? YES

The AAR contract for the purchase of a home has provisions for the buyer to get a home inspection. There is subsequent paperwork that clearly has a section on waiving the inspection as well. I highly recommend avoiding the waiver section. Most people don't know much about the operation of the home, and don't see past the cosmetics. A home inspection provides additional informatin that will enable the buyer to make a more educated decision regarding the property.
