Tax Credit Part 2

Hello again...

Yesterday, we started the topic of "Tax Credits for Energy Efficient Homes".  Today, we'll discuss the second type of qualified improvements, residential energy property expenditures.....

Residential energy property expenditures must be made for 'qualified energy property', which would be:
*Energy efficient building property (electric heat pump, central AC, natural gas, propane or oil water heater);
*Qualified natural gas, propane, or oil furnace or hot water boiler;
*An advanced main air circulating fan.

There are minimum efficency qualifications for all of the above; the best source for those statistics will be the products' manufacturers.

Again, consult your Certified Tax Consultant for all the specifics, but we wanted to share this information with you!  Also, be sure to check out our Queen Creek listings, all of which are "ENERGYSTAR Certified" homes!
